What You'll Be Doing

As an experienced electrically biased maintenance engineer from an FMCG/Food background, you'll be responsible for:

  • Carrying out fault finding, problem solving, and planned and preventative maintenance on plant equipment to maximize equipment reliability and performance
  • Responding to internal customer needs to maximize production time according to given priorities
  • Complying with food safety standards and controls to ensure all work is carried out correctly and safely
  • Completing all necessary documentation to ensure accuracy and audit readiness
  • Identifying and recommending opportunities for improvements to promote Health & Safety and/or operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Maintenance on a range of manufacturing/production/packaging machinery
Shift Pattern

A 9-week rotating shift pattern, including 12-hour day shifts and 10-hour night shifts, will be part of your role.

  • Be an apprentice-trained electrical engineer with a formal engineering qualification
  • Have experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing/FMCG
  • Utilize a proactive approach, with a willingness to learn and develop
  • Have experience in electrical and mechanical fault finding
