Electrical Maintenance Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in the Durham/Stanley area. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment, identifying and resolving electrical and mechanical issues, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our maintenance department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults
  • Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to achieve departmental goals
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
Requirements:
  • Time-served electrical engineering apprenticeship
  • ONC/HNC qualified or equivalent in a relevant discipline
  • Manufacturing industry experience, preferably in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
