This is a rolling advert for a Relief Passenger Transport Assistant to support children with additional needs in the Scottish Borders area.

Role Purpose

As a Relief Passenger Transport Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring children with additional needs have access to education and social opportunities. You will transport children to and from school, providing a safe and supportive environment for them to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport children with additional needs to and from school
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for children during transport
  • Work collaboratively with schools and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transport operations
  • Adhere to Scottish Borders Council's policies and procedures for transporting children with additional needs

Requirements

No formal qualifications are required, but a natural rapport with children and young people is essential. A current driving licence and use of a vehicle are also required.
