About the Role
Cygnet Health Care is seeking an exceptional Medical Director to lead our clinical team at Cygnet Hospital Sherwood. As a seasoned medical professional, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care, ensuring optimal clinical outcomes, and providing expert knowledge and support to the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on all aspects of clinical practice and serve as an example of operational excellence
- Ensure optimal clinical outcomes for the people in our care
- Provide expert knowledge and support within the service and to the wider team
- Ensure quality and compliance with internal and external standards and regulations
- Work with colleagues to provide integrated, whole-person treatment and care
- Coach, mentor, and train colleagues

Requirements
- Fully GMC registered with a relevant medical qualification
- An accomplished leader and clinician with strong line management and communication skills
- Experienced within a mental health setting and a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledgeable of all aspects of clinical governance
- Skilled in medical appraisals, clinical supervision, case investigation, and case management
