Job Summary
We are seeking an accomplished Medical Director to lead our clinical team at Cygnet Hospital Sherwood. As a seasoned psychiatrist, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality care and inspire leadership to drive excellence in our services.
Main Responsibilities
As a Medical Director, you will be responsible for:
- Providing clinical expertise and strategic acumen to drive service improvement
- Leading a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care
- Ensuring compliance with internal and external standards and regulations
- Developing and implementing clinical governance policies and procedures
- Collaborating with colleagues to provide integrated, whole-person treatment and care

Requirements
We are looking for a fully GMC-registered medical professional with a relevant qualification, strong leadership and communication skills, and experience within a mental health setting. You will also need to be knowledgeable about clinical governance and skilled in medical appraisals, clinical supervision, case investigation, and case management.
