Position Overview
The successful candidate will join our dedicated team, ensuring that the highest standards of care are delivered to patients, in line with the National Service Framework for Frailty and Geriatric Medicine, as well as relevant NICE guidelines.
We are looking for a leader in Frailty to enhance our emergency department and oversee our Frailty Assessment unit, collaborating with fellow consultants. This role aims to transition from age-specific services to a comprehensive acute frailty service. Additionally, there is a commitment to further develop an Acute Physician-led Acute Medical Unit (AMU) model, supported by specialty in-reach rotas. As part of this initiative, we plan to modify HCOOP referrals from an age-based criterion to one focused on frailty.
Main Responsibilities
We seek dynamic and driven Elderly Care Consultants to join our friendly and passionate team. The successful candidates will work alongside other substantive Consultants to provide exceptional care for older patients across various locations.
Our benefits package includes an additional £3,000 payment to express our gratitude for your choice to work with us and to assist in your transition.
