We are looking for a seasoned professional to fill the role of Principal Auditor. This position requires a comprehensive skill set, along with substantial experience and knowledge in the auditing field. Essential qualifications include IIA or CCAB certifications, complemented by outstanding communication and report writing abilities. Familiarity with data analytics, especially through Excel, will be beneficial. Your capability to independently utilize professional auditing skills in a multifaceted business setting is crucial, as are your interpersonal skills for effective communication and relationship management.
To excel in this position, candidates should possess qualifications such as IIA or CCAB and have a minimum of four years of experience in an internal audit capacity within a complex organization. A solid understanding of various business risks, including operational, financial, and regulatory, is imperative. Experience in sectors such as housing, real estate, or financial services is preferred. Strong analytical skills, particularly in data analysis using Excel, are highly desirable. The ability to work autonomously within a diverse and geographically dispersed organization while adhering to deadlines and budgetary constraints is essential. Furthermore, effective communication, relationship-building, and leadership capabilities are key attributes for success in this role.
