Chief Governance Officer for Finance, Risk and Audit

About the role

NFP People seeks a seasoned governance professional to serve as Chief Governance Officer for Finance, Risk and Audit. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic organization and contribute to its mission of promoting mental health service provision and public protection.

The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and oversight to the Finance, Risk and Audit Committee, ensuring that the organization's financial and operational risks are effectively managed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic guidance and oversight to the Finance, Risk and Audit Committee
  • Ensure effective management of financial and operational risks
  • Collaborate with the Board of Trustees to achieve organizational objectives

  • Proven experience in governance, risk management, and finance
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the Board of Trustees and senior management
