Position Overview

Field Operations Manager at Latcom plc

Latcom plc, a prominent firm in the Archaeological sector, is seeking to hire a Field Operations Manager to enhance our field team in response to increasing project demands.

Role Responsibilities

In this role, you will primarily operate from our central office, overseeing a team of experienced archaeologists and trainees engaged in various fieldwork initiatives across the UK, with a particular focus on the East Midlands and East Anglia.

Key Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of six months of experience managing commercial fieldwork projects in the UK, including monitoring briefs and short evaluations.
  • Experience in producing grey literature reports.

Essential Skills

  • A valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications

Relevant archaeological training and familiarity with GIS software such as QGIS3 are advantageous.
