About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Manager to join our leadership team at Omega Resource Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a dedicated team of Electrical Engineers and Hardware Design Engineers, while also contributing to exciting project work.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Electrical Engineers and Hardware Design Engineers to deliver high-quality electrical engineering and hardware design solutions.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to develop and implement solid delivery plans for electrical engineering and hardware design work packages.
- Provide technical direction and ensure compliance with customer specifications and legal regulations.
- Develop and maintain efficient electrical design processes and procedures.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure the availability of high-quality resources.
- Develop and maintain internal standards, templates, libraries, methods, and best-practices to ensure efficiency.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing management and supervision to ensure processes, standards, and methodologies are aligned.
- Monitor team output and audit the quality of work to ensure best-in-class and right-first-time delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum of BEng in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 7 years in a relevant technical delivery or management role.
- Subject Matter Expert in electrical control systems.
