Position Overview: Vehicle Systems Integration Engineer

  • Facilitate the integration of intricate vehicle systems to support the development and evaluation of autonomous vehicle software.
  • Engage directly with autonomous vehicles, showcasing proficiency in robotics and autonomous technologies.
  • Apply expertise in self-driving vehicle sensing technologies, including LiDAR, Cameras, and RADAR.
  • Calibrate robotic systems at multiple levels to ensure optimal performance.
  • Analyze and enhance the synergy between the autonomous software stack and emerging hardware.
  • Conduct thorough data analysis to uphold high standards in platform delivery.
  • Perform basic software development to improve hardware integration and operational processes.
  • Document methodologies for the design, testing, and commissioning of new systems.
  • Contribute to the creation of internal user guides and process documentation.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to design and implement test cases.
  • Comply with safety regulations and legislative requirements.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical and hardware issues on test vehicles.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience in the Automotive, Robotics, or Systems Engineering sectors.
  • Familiarity with Python scripting and rapid prototyping for vehicle software.
  • Understanding of CANbus systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of autonomous systems and their complex interactions.
  • Innovative approach with a focus on tailored solutions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in UNIX/Linux environments.
  • Experience in commissioning prototype autonomous systems.
  • Hands-on experience within the automotive sector.
  • Valid driving license.
