About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced supervisor to join our team at ISS. As a Mobile Area Cleaning Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of cleaning operatives to deliver exceptional facility services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and guide operatives to achieve service levels and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Conduct regular checks and cleans to specified areas, ensuring that all areas are clean and tidy.
  • Respond to cleaning requests as required, prioritizing tasks to meet customer needs.
  • Oversee periodic carpet cleaning and spring cleaning as per specification, ensuring that all areas are thoroughly cleaned and maintained.
  • Assist the Sector Manager in the recruitment and vetting process, ensuring that new team members are properly trained and integrated into the team.
  • Manage and develop the team to promote high morale and motivation, recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance.
  • Provide weekly absence details and additional hours worked by the cleaning team, ensuring that all records are accurate and up-to-date.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a cleaning or facilities management environment.
  • Proven track record of managing and developing teams to achieve high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and customer service, even in challenging situations.
  • Health and Safety management experience, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
