The Department of Renal Medicine at Cambridge University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Renal Data Coordinator and Analyst to provide data management support for the directorate.

This role involves collating and submitting mandatory data returns to the Renal Registry, producing and submitting required information for invoicing of Dialysis treatments, and managing a professional, effective, and efficient data collection, coordination, and analysis service to the Renal Department and its users.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage data submissions, audits, and lead on data collection for the Renal department, ensuring compliance with governance requirements.
  • Use effective communication with external agencies and internal teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data submitted.
  • Collaborate with the team to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Educated to degree level or NVQ level 4 or equivalent experience.
  • Customer Service/Business Admin/ITQ or equivalent professional experience.
  • Specific technical/professional qualification (if applicable).
Desirable Skills:
  • Complex administrative experience.
  • Prioritizing, planning, and organizing own and others' tasks.
  • Experience of processing and interpreting large complex datasets.
  • Data entry experience and documentation.
  • Previous experience of working in NHS.
  • Previous experience of working with medical records.
  • Previous experience of working with databases.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Confidentiality and data protection processes and procedures.
  • Good working knowledge of office procedures and all Microsoft office packages with particular emphasis on Excel.
  • Awareness of NHS targets and Trust priorities.
  • Awareness of anti-discriminatory issues.
  • Knowledge of the Trust, including awareness of priorities.
  • Knowledge of Trust information systems.
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
