About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Property Management Manager to lead our residential lettings team in Ashford. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of properties, leading a team of property managers, and ensuring exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of property managers to oversee our portfolio in Ashford
  • Lead daily meetings with the property management team
  • Coach the team to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Monitor and assess individual team member performance
  • Ensure the business is risk-averse and compliant with regulatory bodies
  • Negotiate tenancy extensions and renewals
  • Coordinate with contractors for maintenance and repair issues
  • Process deposit returns and resolve rental arrears
  • Process eviction requests and ensure properties meet health and safety standards
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants
  • Manage complaints and complete check-in and check-out procedures

Requirements

  • Full UK driving license for a manual vehicle
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a property manager in residential lettings
  • Strong knowledge of current residential lettings legislation
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Basic IT skills
