Lead Nurse - SACT Services
Band 7

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Edinburgh Cancer Centre.
We are seeking a motivated and innovative nurse to oversee the safe and effective administration of Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapies (SACT) in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
The ideal candidate should possess relevant experience in oncology and/or haematology, along with the capability to operate at a senior level within a complex environment. Collaboration with medical and pharmacy professionals is essential.
The successful applicant will also engage with the senior management team within the centre.
This role encompasses a significant governance responsibility, including audit and management of adverse events, with training provided as necessary.
The appointed individual will primarily be based at the Cancer Centre but will also provide coverage across other clinical areas within NHS Lothian and the SCAN Network in delivering SACT.
Attendance and representation of NHS Lothian at local and regional meetings is also expected.
