This exciting opportunity has arisen within the Edinburgh Cancer Centre, where we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced nurse to lead our Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapies (SACT) services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective delivery of SACT in both day treatment and in-patient areas.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant oncology and/or haematology experience, with the ability to work at a senior level in a complex setting. You will collaborate closely with medical and pharmacy colleagues, as well as the senior management team, to drive excellence in patient care.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the development and implementation of SACT services
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Managing governance and audit processes, including adverse event management
  • Representing NHS Lothian at local and regional meetings
