We are seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to join our team at MDE Consultants. As a key member of our electrical engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to our engineers, ensuring the successful delivery of projects and assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide electrical engineering recommendations and technical support for reviews, strategic plans, and projects.
- Assist with allocation, budgeting, resource planning, and scheduling.
- Manage cost estimations and determine reliable material sources.
- Collaborate with managers to estimate accurate schedules and solve problems.
- Streamline production processes while maintaining compliance with safety guidelines.
- Create production, quality validation, and evaluation requirements; troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Establish technical standards in reviews, documentation, and designs.
- Manage Electrical & Instrumentation Engineers.
- Act as a key stakeholder in the Projects Team.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in electrical engineering, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
