Financial Controller Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our client, a rapidly growing SME based in Worthing. As a key member of the senior management team, you will be responsible for leading the finance function and working closely with the MD to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and present monthly management accounts to the senior management team
  • Develop and manage budgets and forecasts to ensure accurate financial planning
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory obligations and maintain accurate financial records
  • Oversee the ongoing maintenance and improvement of finance systems to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Manage the annual audit process to ensure a smooth and successful outcome
Requirements:
  • Qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with PQ or QBE status
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of financial management and leadership
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
