Job Title: EYPDAS Lead Practitioner West

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our EYPDAS team in the West region. As EYPDAS Lead Practitioner West, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality services to young people aged up to 25 who require support for substance or alcohol use.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of the needs of vulnerable young people and their families. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement effective interventions and support plans that meet the needs of our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct interventions with young people on a one-to-one and group work basis, including working with families and carers.
  • Co-produce care and safety plans with young people that are young person-led, focusing on a relational and strength-based approach.
  • Develop and maintain effective partnerships with other agencies and stakeholders to ensure the needs and wishes of young people are heard and acted upon.
  • Line manage a team of practitioners, providing supervision, referral allocation, performance management, and support to deliver high-quality services.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Extensive experience of delivering direct interventions with vulnerable young people, including one-to-one and group work.
  • Experience of working with young people and families that are hard to reach and from diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience of partnership and multi-agency working, including working with other agencies and stakeholders.
  • Experience of leading a team and managing projects, including line management and performance management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with young people, families, and other stakeholders.
