Field Service Engineer

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products are delivered and maintained to the highest standards. This role involves a variety of tasks, including:

  • Transporting and setting up products at customer sites
  • Collecting and returning equipment for cleaning and maintenance
  • Conducting thorough inspections, repairs, and safety tests on equipment
  • Maintaining accurate records of all service activities
  • Managing inventory of products and spare parts
  • Providing training and demonstrations to staff on product usage
  • Ensuring a clean and organized work environment

Working Hours: This position requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, with a schedule from Tuesday to Saturday. Participation in an on-call rota will also be necessary after training, with additional compensation for on-call duties.

Candidate Profile: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • A background in mechanical or electrical fields is advantageous, though not mandatory as comprehensive training will be provided
  • A valid UK driving license is essential
  • Strong customer service skills and a proactive approach
  • Effective communication abilities
  • Capability to work independently while adhering to established procedures
  • Basic understanding of hygiene and safety protocols
  • Familiarity with basic computer applications, including email and office software
  • Willingness to undergo a background check
