Level 2 Teaching Assistant Opportunity

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Lincoln. As a key member of the education team, you will play a vital role in supporting both teachers and students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with class teachers to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
  • Provide targeted support to students through small group or individual assistance.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teacher.
  • Support students with special educational needs and adapt activities as required.
  • Promote good behaviour and encourage positive interactions among students.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Level 2 Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
  • A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • A flexible and proactive approach to supporting teaching and learning.
  • Commitment to promoting a safe and inclusive school environment.
  • Up-to-date CV and enhanced DBS registration.
