About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a renowned school in Horsham. The successful candidate will provide 1:1 support to students with ADHD, autism, and behavioural needs, creating a safe and enabling learning environment that fosters individual growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored support to students with complex needs, promoting their academic and personal progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and deliver engaging, relevant, and practical curricula.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, providing constructive feedback and insights to inform teaching practices.
Requirements
  • Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
  • Relevant teaching assistant and SEN experience (must provide references)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS (willingness to get one)
  • A nurturing, patient, and committed approach to making learning accessible
