Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our projects, operations, and site functions. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, support, and collaborate with Project Managers and operations teams to ensure exceptional project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Work closely with finance teams to maintain budgets, forecast revenue, and implement effective credit control measures.
  • Collaborate with technical and sales departments to uphold relevant accreditations and procedures, including those related to Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ), ensuring full compliance.
  • Negotiate and manage relationships with suppliers and clients, optimizing project terms by reviewing contractual and financial agreements.
  • Proactively address challenges and issues as they arise, maintaining strong communication with key clients to foster positive relationships.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews of projects, identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous enhancement.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Extensive experience in construction activities, particularly within the renewable energy sector, electrical engineering, or civil engineering.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and contribute to a growing team.
  • Results-oriented individual with a strong track record of setting targets and motivating multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives within time, cost, and quality constraints.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in IT systems, including the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience in Project Management and a demonstrated ability to effectively support project managers.
