About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team at our Charity Shop in Fulwood, Preston. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in achieving maximum sales and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets and maintain a high standard of customer service
• Ensure high standards of merchandising and cleanliness are maintained throughout the shop
• Support the shop manager to promote the Gift Aid scheme and adhere to policies and guidelines
• Manage stock levels and rotate stock according to company guidelines
• Assist in the day-to-day supervision of volunteers and recruitment and training of new volunteers

Requirements

• Previous retail experience and knowledge of administrative duties
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work as part of a team
• IT literate and numerate, with good communication skills
