Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Billing and Collections Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the entire accounts receivable function, leading and mentoring a team of credit controllers, and ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the entire accounts receivable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Lead and mentor a team of credit controllers, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance targets.
- Monitor and analyze customer credit risk and set appropriate credit limits to minimize bad debt.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Engage with clients regarding overdue payments and negotiate payment plans as needed.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of credit control procedures and practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office.
- Superior communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and make effective decisions.
