About the Role

As a Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative and sustainable solutions for our clients' projects. You will be responsible for creating temporary mechanical building services designs that meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement temporary mechanical building services solutions tailored to specific project requirements.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to relevant regulations, health and safety standards, and sustainability principles.
  • Collaborate closely with the Principle Designer and Principle Contractor to fulfill CDM (Construction Design Management) requirements.
  • Work as part of a dedicated mechanical design team to provide comprehensive solutions for various building services.
  • Produce detailed design documentation, including specifications, datasheets, calculations, schedules, and drawings.
  • Review vendor documents to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Actively participate in design reviews and contribute valuable technical insights.
  • Identify potential design risks and provide effective technical support to mitigate them.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with technical consultants and suppliers.

About You

Qualifications & Experience

  • A minimum qualification of HNC/HND in Electrical Installation services or a related field.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD software and a strong understanding of relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
