About the Role:

The Relief Support Worker role is an exciting opportunity for you to utilize your existing experience and knowledge of working with adults with a learning disability and forensic background.

This role is based at a community setting, where you will provide practical support to individuals to enable them to participate in community activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized support to individuals with complex needs and histories
  • Develop and implement personal support plans that address individual needs
  • Work with statutory and voluntary agencies, as well as advocates/family members
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals to achieve greater independence and self-esteem

Requirements:

  • Warm, understanding, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated and interested in working with people with complex needs and histories
  • Emotionally resilient and open to working with our Practice Lead to enable the service to strive to learn and change with our service users
