Job Title: SEMH Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our team at Remedy Education. As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and personal development of students with Special Educational Needs and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist teaching staff in the classroom with learning and provide support to students with SEMH needs to eliminate barriers within the curriculum and make learning more accessible.
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans that cater to the unique needs of each student.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students, helping them to build confidence and self-esteem.
  • Contribute to the creation of a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children, including those with SEMH needs.
  • A desire to kickstart your career in teaching, educational psychology, mental health, special educational needs, and more.
