Job Summary:
The Senior Credit Administration Officer - Loan Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that all facilities are established within a standardized control framework, including syndicated, bilateral, and sub-participated loans, to enable accurate loan administration outcomes and post-lending management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that minimum requirements for drawdown sign-off are achieved prior to disbursement, including facility agreement execution, credit approval, Conditions Precedent satisfaction, and utilization request validity.
- Monitor and reconcile the commitment fee on an ongoing basis.
- Coordinate with Front Office for client or agent bank requirements on a daily basis.
- Monitor incoming emails, file archiving, circulation, and diary to ensure timely and accurate loan administrative work.
- Monitor late payments, including principal, interest, and fees, and reconcile with back office on a monthly basis.
- Maintain and update the loan database, including daily portfolio reports, based on agent notices and back-office reports.
- Process transactions in the credit system, including drawdown, rollover, and interest fixing.
Requirements:
- Experience working on bilateral and sub-part loans.
- Experience working on agency deal roles.
- At least 5 years of experience working in a similar capacity in a bank.
- Conscientious approach with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Ability to deliver under strict deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.
- Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- English fluency, with Mandarin preferred but not mandatory.
Working Arrangements:
This is a permanent position with a standard working hours of 9 to 5, with flexibility when necessary. The working style is fully office-based.
