Loan Administration Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Loan Administration Team Leader to join our Investment Operations team at British International Investment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of loan and trade and supply chain finance transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Loan Administration team in ensuring all loan and trade and supply chain finance transactions are processed accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with third-party loan administrators to set rates, interest dates, and interest payments.
- Work closely with BII's legal and investment teams on all operational aspects of debt documentation.
- Manage the investment closing process for all debt investments.
- Monitor receipt of covenant reporting information and provide regular reporting on BII's debt portfolio.
- Provide expert advice to the wider company on the debt portfolio and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Proven experience as a team leader in a loan administration function at a financial institution.
- Deep technical knowledge and expertise of debt products and loan administration processes.
- Ability to multi-task and balance team activities while meeting deadlines.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
- Experience working with emerging markets, particularly India, is an advantage.
