You will be instrumental in refining the overall training strategy, ensuring it incorporates contemporary, innovative techniques while upholding exceptional standards of quality and effectiveness.

Core Responsibilities:

Support and Development of Training Teams:

  • Offer expert guidance to a global cadre of IT trainers, disseminating advanced knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
  • Contribute to capacity planning and skill development initiatives to ensure the team is proficient in the latest SAP/S4HANA features.

Training Program Development:

  • Work collaboratively with fellow trainers to enhance existing training frameworks, integrating cutting-edge and modern instructional methodologies.
  • Organize, prepare, and conduct train-the-trainer workshops for future ZEISS trainers.
  • Design, prepare, and facilitate end-user training sessions or assist ZEISS trainers in these endeavors.

Assessment and Documentation:

  • Assess the impact of training initiatives post-implementation, document findings, and share insights internally to promote ongoing enhancement.

Qualifications:

Expertise in SAP:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP and S/4HANA training and consulting on a global scale, demonstrating a solid track record in software and IT solutions.
  • Experience in executing SAP S/4HANA training projects is crucial.
  • In-depth knowledge of serial numbers is preferred.
  • Expertise in at least two specific SAP Modules, including:
  • SAP Production Planning (SAP PP)
  • SAP Materials Management (SAP MM)
  • SAP Variant Configuration / Advanced Variant Configuration (VC/AVC)
  • SAP Quality Management (QM)
  • SAP Procure to Pay (P2P)
  • SAP Inventory Management / Extended Warehouse Management / Transportation Management (IM/EWM/TM)
  • SAP Finance & Controlling (FICO)
  • SAP Sales & Distribution (SAP SD)
  • SAP Customer Service (SAP CS)

Training Plan Creation:

  • Skilled in developing training plans and materials, coordinating, and executing training strategies.

Communication and Presentation Skills:

  • Possess a hands-on approach to conveying knowledge and content, with the capability to simplify and clarify complex subjects.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Well-versed in the complete Microsoft suite, particularly Office and Teams.
  • Experience with SAP Enable Now during training delivery.

Language Proficiency:

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Proficiency in an additional language such as French, Chinese, or German is advantageous.

Industry Acumen:

  • Understanding of discrete industries is essential.
  • Familiarity with sectors such as mechanical engineering, high-tech, optics, and semiconductors is beneficial.

Additional Competencies:

  • Experience in managing cross-functional resources in a global context.
  • Strong background in Change Management.
  • Proven ability to oversee and manage the comprehensive rollout of global IT-related training initiatives.
  • Experience in capacity planning and skill enhancement.

Travel Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for business and training purposes, with travel expectations around 25%.
