Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clerical Officer to join our team at Translink. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling cash transactions, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Handle cash transactions, including lodgements, and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
  • Assist with data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks as required.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to achieve our goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 GCSEs at Grade C or above, or equivalent, including English and Maths, or relevant experience in a similar post.
  • At least 6 months relevant clerical experience, including experience of handling cash transactions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
Desirable Criteria
  • At least 2 years' experience in a customer-facing role, including experience of dealing with customer enquiries.
  • Experience of financial IT systems for sales/receipt purposes.
