About the Role

We are seeking two highly skilled Veterinary Nursing Lecturers/Course Managers to join our team at Vetisco. As a key member of our Animal Management Department, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of our curriculum area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support a highly skilled Veterinary Nursing Team to ensure high levels of satisfaction and success within training practices while maintaining compliance with RCVS requirements.
  • Develop new curriculum content consistent with college-approved procedures.
  • Lead and guide students in a range of scholarly activities to enhance learning.
  • Promote the Animal Management Department both internally and externally.
  • Build links and relationships within industry to enhance the reputation of the College.
  • Establish effective working relationships with all interdependent areas of the College to support co-operative partnership working and to maximize the learner experience.
  • Continue to stay updated in industry knowledge and personal professional development.
  • Work with the Curriculum Area Manager/Head of Department to ensure effective management of departmental budgets.
  • Ensure high standards are met in respect of health and safety, equality and diversity, safeguarding, and child protection matters.
Requirements
  • Minimum Level 3 Qualification for Further Education role.
  • Registered Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
  • Level 2 Maths and English or equivalent.
  • Veterinary practice experience or relevant time in industry.
