About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Paralegal to join our Lifetime Planning team at Ashtons Legal LLP. As a Paralegal in this team, you will work closely with our lawyers to support clients with their Lifetime Planning needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with clients to gather information and instructions, and communicate with them on behalf of our lawyers.
  • Assist with drafting legal documents and correspondence, working collaboratively with the team.
  • Take ownership of administrative tasks, including producing invoices, letters, and documents, in conjunction with the lawyers and support teams.
  • Engage with clients and third parties, including meetings, phone calls, and emails.
  • Support lawyers at client meetings, ensuring accurate records are kept and action points are communicated and met.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a strong willingness to learn and develop, excellent social skills, and a drive to provide exceptional client service. Ideally, you will have:

  • Lifetime Planning experience
  • At least three years' experience in a similar Paralegal role
  • An excellent academic record
  • Strong team playing skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients in a clear and concise manner
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
  • Courteous and efficient communication skills
  • Ability to display empathy and understanding towards clients
  • Adaptable approach, working collaboratively with the team when necessary
  • Willingness to learn new skills and demonstrate commitment to your work and team
