Job Summary

Midas Recruitment is seeking an experienced Operations and Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of events and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with all administration tasks related to events, including arranging travel and hotel bookings, and ensuring all insurance policies are compliant.
  • Support logistics planning for events, working with the warehouse team to coordinate deliveries and collections.
  • Attend project meetings to take minutes and better understand event requirements to support your planning activities.
  • Manage the resource calendar, and oversee the rental and freelance database to arrange resources, labour and hire equipment.
  • Cover the hire desk team, when required, which includes handling enquiries, booking hire equipment, and providing in-depth quotations.

Requirements

  • Experience in a previous logistics and administration role, with a good understanding of overall operational excellence.
  • Demonstrate strong administration and planning skills and be capable of working with accuracy.
  • Confident communicator, able to build relationships internally and with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers.
  • Possess excellent time management and organisation skills, able to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Tenacious, resilient, adaptable and solutions-driven.
