The Opportunity

Your Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnosis, and treatment plans for patients with a range of mental health conditions.
  • Lead and supervise multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based clinical practices.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, adhering to all relevant legal and ethical guidelines.

Our CESR Programme

This program will equip you with the skills necessary to progress to Consultant level. You'll gain valuable experience across various subspecialties through rotations within wards/services. An educational supervisor will review your progress, oversee your development, and provide support with MRCPsych exams.

Who We Are Looking For
  • Fully GMC registered and MBBS (or equivalent) qualified.
  • Experienced in General Psychiatry.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledgeable of mental health legislation and codes of practice.
  • An excellent clinical decision-maker with sound judgment and risk management abilities.
  • A first-rate communicator who can interview, assess, and treat patients while writing clear, comprehensive medical notes.
  • Committed to continued professional development.
  • Preferably approved under Section 12 of the Mental Health Act and a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, or equivalent.
