Additional Information:
Flexibility to work early mornings/evenings and occasional weekends. Participation in an on-call rota is required (approximately 1 in every 4 weeks, £100 a week when on-call). A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are necessary, with business insurance for roles involving travel. Opportunities to take on relief shifts based on project requirements.

Role Overview:
You will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality, person-centered outreach service to individuals facing homelessness in Bath. Your responsibilities will include implementing a locally agreed-upon strategy aligned with the No Second Night Out initiative.

Your duties will involve conducting outreach and targeted visits throughout the local area to identify individuals experiencing homelessness and provide them with the necessary support and services tailored to their immediate needs.

This will require some early mornings/evenings as well as occasional weekend outreach sessions.

Please note that this role necessitates flexibility and the ability to walk several miles in varying weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:


Conduct assertive outreach and targeted visits across the locality, including during unsocial hours, maintaining a consistent street presence.

Perform risk and needs assessments with identified individuals experiencing homelessness to facilitate access to services appropriate for their immediate needs.
Adhere to No Second Night Out guidelines when assisting those new to the streets.
Identify signs of substance misuse, mental health needs, personality disorders, and behavioral issues, making suitable referrals to relevant agencies.

Qualifications / Requirements:
A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, with business insurance for roles involving travel.
Experience working with vulnerable adults and/or individuals with complex needs.
