**Support Worker - Weekends**

We are looking to build a small team to support a young man with ADHA and ASD in the Upper Swainswick area.

**About You**

For this position you must have a background in care and support,

L is diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), learning difficulties and social communication difficulties. He also has mental health needs, namely anxiety disorder and a mood disorder (Bi-Polar) which is managed through medication. L requires support with all aspects of daily living tasks. He is able to dress/undress himself independently and can choose his own clothing, with guidance. He can participate in food preparation and is able to use tools to prepare food. However, he can become agitated and highly anxious extremely quickly when certain demands are placed upon him. He has strong sensitivities to smells, loud/unfamiliar noises, and touch. He requires a consistent and low arousal support approach.

Working with L, ideally you will have an interest or understanding in the following areas
- Outdoor activities
- Shopping
- Cinema
- Animals

**Hours**

We are looking to cover shifts Friday - Sunday (days and sleeps) plus occasional annual leave throughout the week.
