About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Finance Team at Rubberatkins as a Trainee Accounts Assistant. This exciting opportunity offers a great chance for someone eager to launch their career in finance while gaining hands-on experience in various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Finance Support:
    • Assist in processing invoices, payments, and expense claims.
    • Support the preparation of financial reports and reconciliations.
    • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.
    • Learn and assist with bookkeeping and ledger management.
    • Work closely with the Finance Team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
    • Liaise with suppliers and service providers to manage orders and deliveries.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Manage the reception area, welcoming visitors and handling phone calls.
    • Coordinate the ordering and stocking of cleaning supplies and other office essentials.
    • Assist with general office administration, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.

Requirements:

  • Genuine interest in building a career in finance.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Proactive mindset.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
