Production Line Manager

Job Summary
The Production Line Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing floor, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to motivate and manage a team of production staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage production lines and labor to meet planned volume and commercial targets, adhering to quality and safety standards.
- Effectively motivate and manage a team of production staff to meet production targets.
- Ensure the final product meets client specifications and quality standards.
- Maximize production efficiency to ensure plan is met on an hourly/daily basis.
- Use the integrated management system (Vision) to monitor and control production processes.
- Adhere to and promote best practice in accordance with company health, safety, and quality regulations.
- Ensure all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensure all areas comply with hygienic audits, both internal and external.
- Ensure GMP (good manufacturing practices) and housekeeping (clean as you go) are strictly adhered to.
- Liaise with agency controllers on a day-to-day basis, providing feedback regarding agency workers.
- Attend team leader meetings and participate in the training and development of new starters.
- Act as a role model for best practice and monitor, control, and minimize waste.
- Play an active part in continuous improvement and conduct RTW and disciplinary interviews as required.
- Participate in the company's appraisal system and undertake such other duties as may be required from time to time.
Requirements
- Experience of working within a manufacturing/production machinery in FMCG environment.
