About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Worker to join our team at a Special School in the Devizes area. The successful candidate will work on a full-time basis in a KS2 class of complex needs, providing support to students with a range of special needs and disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students with complex needs, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Work collaboratively with the SENCO and Class Teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and fun classroom environment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support students with complex needs, including ASD, Complex Needs, SLD, MLD, and PMLD.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements
  • Experience working with complex special needs in a school setting.
  • Ability to work positively with other members of staff and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Flexibility, creativity, and a patient approach to supporting students with complex needs.
