Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our team. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and clean working kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the kitchen is clean and tidy at all times, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Wash and sanitize pots, pans, and equipment to prevent cross-contamination.
- Receive and store deliveries in accordance with HACCP policy.
- Label food and ingredients correctly to ensure allergen awareness.
- Support chefs in food preparation, including basic tasks such as chopping and portioning.
- Participate in deep cleaning tasks as scheduled or required by the business.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is desirable, but full training will be provided.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and maintain a positive attitude.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
