Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Line Manager to deliver a high-quality engineering service, taking responsibility for the performance of People and Plant.
  • Complete the full range of maintenance activities across the entire installed asset base, including mechanical, electrical, and basic control & instrumentation faults.
  • Rapidly diagnose and resolve faults, working to improve the performance of People and Plant.
  • Complete all work allocated to a high standard, having the ability to complete all maintenance tasks across the installed asset base.
  • Work as a key member of the Engineering team, demonstrating Company Values and flexibility to support other teams/departments where required.
  • Report any non-conformance's to Company Policies/Procedures/Standards and support corrective action activities.
  • Support the delivery of key performance indicators for the Factory linked to Safety, Quality, People, Delivery, and Cost standards.
  • Pro-actively identify areas for continuous improvement within the production work environment/equipment/systems.
Requirements
  • Time served Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship Level 3 City & Guilds / ONC / BTEC
  • Food Safety Level 2
  • HACCP Level 2
  • IPAF or equivalent
