Lead Midwife for Patient Experience

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic midwife to lead our maternity services and drive improvements in patient experience. As a senior midwife, you will be responsible for the professional direction of all aspects of the women's experience across our maternity services, ensuring optimum standards are maintained.
Main Responsibilities:- Lead the development and implementation of strategies to improve patient experience and satisfaction
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and coordination of women and their families
- Conduct clinical audits and present findings to inform service improvements
- Provide mentorship and education to midwives and other healthcare professionals
- Facilitate teaching and training at our sister sites within Barts Health
- Registered Midwife with minimum 3 years experience as a practicing band 6
- NMC registration on relevant part of register
- Professional knowledge acquired through Midwifery training to Degree Level or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience
- Mentorship course or equivalent teaching experience
- Experience of clinical audit and presentation
- RCA Training
- Significant experience as a practising midwife
- Experience of dealing with patient concerns
- Knowledge of clinical governance as a theory and in practice
- Knowledge of Datix System
- Experience in people management and improving the patient experience
- Mentoring experience
- Decision making ability
- Experience of report writing
- Experience in co-ordination, chairing and administration of meetings
- Experience of stakeholder and partnership working
- Experience of writing complaints responses
