About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Systemic Family Practitioner Trainee. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to work in a paid full-time training role, providing low-intensity interventions for anxiety, depression, and conduct problems.

Main Responsibilities

As a Systemic Family Practitioner Trainee, you will work with children and young people, providing guided self-help and other interventions. You will be part of the Children and Young People's Psychological Trainings initiative, which aims to increase and upskill the children and young people's mental health workforce.

About the Training

The 1-year full-time training course is provided by a leading mental health organization in partnership with a prestigious university. You will study in person for one or two days per week and work in-service using the skills gained during the training.

Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with a qualification in a relevant field, such as Clinical/Educational Psychology, Social Work, or Counselling. You should have experience of supporting children and young people with their mental health and wellbeing. You must be willing to undertake an intensive training course and demonstrate the aptitude to study at Level 7.
