Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Manpower UK. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant services, providing exceptional customer experiences, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Standards
    • Develop and implement service standards that meet or exceed customer expectations, ensuring a high level of quality and consistency in all aspects of service.
    • Lead a team of staff to deliver exceptional service during meal periods, maintaining high standards of food hygiene and ensuring all dietary requirements and allergens are correctly implemented.
    • Monitor and improve service standards, making suggestions to develop and refine service delivery to meet the changing needs of our customers.
    • Organize and direct meal periods, ensuring staff are assigned according to service level needs, and that all service areas are clean and tidy at the end of each meal period.
    • Effectively communicate with other departments as required, ensuring seamless service delivery and maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Administration
    • In the absence of the Manager, check and respond to all emails regarding restaurant services, ensuring timely and effective communication.
    • Prepare rota in consultation with the Catering Administrator, Hall, SCR, Bar, and Café teams, ensuring this is within pre-set budgetary limits.
    • Carry out regular monthly stock audits in the restaurant, SCR, and Café.
    • Submit accurate time sheets and records of hours worked by all restaurant staff, and prepare staff wage sheets in conjunction with the Manager/Catering Administrator for weekly sign-off by the Head Catering Services Manager.
    • Check the restaurant department's internal and external bookings, from Kinetics (Kx) or the Meal Booking System from Mercury/Accurate Solutions.
    • Deliver an efficient administration support function to the Catering Administrator and Manager.
