We're seeking a skilled Sales and Technical Support specialist to join our team at our UK headquarters in Derby.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales by responding to customer inquiries and developing strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Generate quotes, process orders, and follow up on potential leads to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest product developments and vehicle trends to effectively communicate their benefits to customers.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to assist with product promotions and attend industry events or trade shows to showcase Milltek Sport's offerings.
  • Provide technical information regarding the installation, compatibility, and performance of Milltek Sport products.
  • Assist customers in diagnosing and resolving issues related to exhaust systems, working closely with the engineering team when necessary.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and the product development team, feeding back customer insights and issues for continuous improvement.
  • Offer timely and accurate after-sales support, handling queries related to warranty, returns, or product adjustments.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and technical knowledge to deliver a superior customer experience.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical understanding of automotive exhaust systems or performance parts.
  • Proven experience in sales, ideally in an automotive or performance parts environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Customer-focused with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales software for managing customer accounts.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a technical support or technical sales role within the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge of the performance automotive aftermarket parts or experience within the industry.
  • A clean UK driving license.
