Technical Project Coordinator - South East London

Skilled Careers Ltd is currently seeking a Technical Project Coordinator to support a prominent residential developer/contractor in South East London.

The Technical Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in a significant residential development, assisting the senior management in overseeing daily operations from a technical perspective. This position involves collaboration with production and commercial teams to ensure the project adheres to budgetary and timeline constraints.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the project and provide support for operational management.
  • Review and process architectural and engineering plans.
  • Ensure comprehensive checks and coordination of all project documentation.
  • Distribute drawings and information for construction, adhering to established protocols.
  • Coordinate inquiries and applications with statutory service providers and local authorities.
  • Engage with architects, engineers, and subcontractors for necessary information.
  • Assist in maintaining updated processes concerning Building Regulations and other statutory requirements.
  • Prepare and verify brochure plans while managing brochure divergence tracking.
  • Facilitate internal communication with Planning, Commercial, Construction, and Sales teams.
  • Develop and monitor technical specifications.
  • Prepare and issue specific site documentation and Q&A notes for sales launch preparations.
  • Manage customer change procedures, ensuring completion aligns with the construction schedule.
  • Participate in site and project meetings as necessary.
  • Update and distribute drawing trackers to ensure timely information delivery in accordance with build schedules.

Technical Competencies:


Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical role within a residential development environment, focusing on both low and high-rise mixed-use projects or in an architectural/engineering practice.

A degree in Architecture, Structural Engineering, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field is required.

Proficient understanding of Building Regulations and current legislation relevant to residential and commercial development.

Computer literate with strong numerical, verbal, and written communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to lead a design team and manage internal personnel effectively.

Excellent communication skills with a talent for building strong relationships.

Outstanding organizational abilities, capable of working under pressure and managing multiple tasks.

Detail-oriented with a methodical approach to problem-solving.

Focus on product quality, design feasibility, and cost-effective solutions.

Motivated individual with a proactive attitude, driven to meet personal and team objectives.
