Role Overview
The Bid Management Team is dedicated to delivering a comprehensive Bid Management service that adheres to our established bid processes and industry best practices throughout the bid lifecycle. Our goal is to produce thorough documentation that aligns with our clients' specific needs.

Key Responsibilities
- **Preparation and Planning**: Oversee the organization of bid projects, including assembling the bid team, creating bid plans, and establishing work packages, milestones, and deadlines.
- **Internal Communication Management**: Facilitate effective communication within the bid team and with essential stakeholders, collaborating closely with the bid opportunity owner.
- **Operational Management**: Direct the virtual bid team and manage bid projects to ensure timely and quality deliverables, focusing on task management within the team.
- **Tracking and Coordination**: Monitor agreed internal and external bid delivery timelines, ensuring all contributors within the bid team provide complete and consistent input.
- **Strategy Development**: Lead the preparation and documentation of bid strategies, unique selling points, key messages, and content for proposals and presentations.
- **Document Management**: Organize and maintain the filing structure, naming conventions, and responsibilities for bid documents, including managing the bid collaboration portal for effective teamwork.
- **Content Integration**: Collect, prepare, and incorporate standard proposal content alongside tailored bid material for the client.
- **Quality Assurance**: Ensure the quality of proposal documents and presentations, focusing on differentiation, formatting, and accuracy, while considering the unique needs of various clients.
- **Campaign Support**: Assist with client-specific campaigns and coordinate marketing efforts, ensuring compliance with the Computacenter brand.
- **Project Closure**: Finalize bid projects by providing content for reuse in standard knowledge and bid libraries.
- **Efficiency Improvement**: Participate in projects aimed at enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of presales initiatives.

Qualifications
- A background in technical or commercial education, or equivalent professional experience.
- Familiarity with the bidding industry and best practices (e.g., APMP, Shipley).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Creative thinking with a focus on pragmatic solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage credibly at all organizational levels and across different cultural contexts.
- Strong business acumen, capable of utilizing relevant company bid data sources.
- Experience in leading virtual bid teams without direct disciplinary authority.
- Proficient in document creation, collaboration, and management using Office 365 tools, including SharePoint and MS Teams.
