Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a high level of product knowledge
  • Identify and act on selling opportunities to meet sales targets
  • Assist with promotional set up and maintain a clean and organized store environment
  • Ensure stock is controlled and merchandised to company standards
  • Comply with company regulations regarding cash handling and administration
  • Comply with health and safety information and licensing and trading standards legislation

Requirements:

  • Maths and English GCSE Grade C or above or equivalent
  • Three months previous experience in a retail environment
  • Communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Personal drive and a pleasant, positive attitude

Desirable:

  • Interest and/or knowledge of wine
  • Previous experience of cash handling and stock control
